Dear Readers,

We have been crazy busy here in the garden with some major harvests including all of the chard and kale, carrots and now the squashes, tomatoes and peppers are all starting.

So without further ado, here is the breakdown of the harvests:

42 quart sized freezer bags of mixed greens; including kale and chard (some with bacon!)

Blanched green vegetables

36 lbs of squash from the squash patch including banana squash (below), hubbard, acorn and spaghetti squash.

We’ve also canned 40 ears of corn from a local farmer.
