We have been harvesting more than 15 pounds of cauliflower out of the biodynamic and organic gardens before the intense sun and over 100°F weather we’ve been having here in Utah force the brassicas to run to flower.
Like the spinach, kale and chard we opted to blanch the florets then vacuum pack and freeze them. If you missed the how to post you can read it here.
We’ve got more broccoli ready to harvest and we’re looking at around 10 pounds of that to harvest from JimJim’s garden and another 10 pounds of cauliflower.
We’ve got so much coming out of the garden right now we are having to invest in another freezer to cope with it all!
